- Collar
Larger collar pads for a tighter fit and to reduce debris ingress.

- Tongue
The tongue material is a smooth microsuede that molds to the foot and features perforations to reduce heat buildup.

- Upper
The upper is made from open-weave Bio-Dyneema® and recycled materials, making it incredibly strong and lightweight. The weave pattern allows for maximum breathability and quick water drainage.

- Midsole
The 005 features a full-length, pure Arnitel® (TPEE) midsole, unlike any other shoe. This allows the 005 to be incredibly lightweight and responsive while remaining very durable. While most supershoes are designed for race day, the 005 is designed for race days – plural.

- Sole
A brand new full-length norda sole with the world's first version of Vibram® Mega Grip Elite rubber. This is a race day compound, which is Vibram®'s grippiest and lightest formulation ever. The increased traction of the Mega Grip Elite allows for varying lug heights, facilitating transitions between technical trails and dirt paths.

- Laces
The laces are 4mm instead of 5mm to reduce weight. The laces are made from Dyneema®, providing greater abrasion resistance, increased elasticity, and 4 times the strength of a standard lace.

- The norda™ Lock-in System
The 005 features a detailed, race-day specific proprietary fit lock-in system. The heel collar is designed with pods to increase foot lock-in, comfort, and reduce debris entry. The tongue is a smooth, perforated microsuede that molds to the foot and allows heat to escape during high-intensity runs. This lock-in system is complemented by a new internal foot lockdown technology that engages via the laces and ensures an unshakeable hold.

- Weight: Approximately 250g (US size 10.5), combining lightness and robustness.
- Drop: 7mm, a perfect balance between cushioning and natural feel.
- Stack height: 38.5mm, designed for maximum comfort over long distances.
- Lugs: 4mm, ensuring reliable grip on all terrains.
- Outsole: Vibram® Megagrip Elite, the benchmark for grip and traction.
- Midsole: Arnitel® TPEE, offering excellent energy return and high durability.
- Weave: Bio-based Dyneema® and recycled nylon, combining lightness and abrasion resistance.

Specifically designed for the UTMB and races on the west coast of the United States, such as WSER, BLACK CANYON, CANYONS, etc., which feature a lot of flat terrain with some technical ascents and descents.
