- Collar
Larger collar pads for a tighter fit and to reduce debris entry.

- Tongue
The tongue material is a smooth microsuede that molds to the foot and features perforations to reduce heat.

- Upper
The open-weave Bio-Dyneema® and recycled materials upper is incredibly strong and lightweight. The weave pattern allows for maximum breathability and quick water shedding.

- Midsole
The 005 features an entirely pure Arnitel® (TPEE) midsole, unlike any shoe before it. This allows the 005 to be incredibly lightweight and responsive while remaining very durable. While most supershoes are designed for race day, the 005 is designed for race days – plural.

- Outsole
An all-new full-length, one-piece norda outsole featuring the world's first version of Vibram® Mega Grip Elite rubber. This is a race-day compound, which is the grippiest, lightest formulation Vibram® has ever created. The increased traction of the Mega Grip Elite allows for varying lug heights, making transitions between technical trails and dirt roads easier.

- Laces
Laces are 4mm instead of 5mm to reduce weight. The laces are made of Dyneema®, providing greater abrasion resistance, elasticity, and are 4x stronger than a standard lace.

- The norda™ Lock Down System
The 005 features a proprietary, detailed race-day fit lockdown system. The heel collar is designed with pods to increase foot lockdown, comfort, and reduce debris entry. The tongue is a smooth, perforated microsuede that molds to the foot and allows heat to escape during high-intensity runs. This lockdown system is complemented by a new internal foot harness technology that engages via the laces, ensuring an unshakeable hold.

- Weight: Approximately 250g (US size 10.5), combining lightness and robustness.
- Drop: 7mm, a perfect balance between cushioning and natural feel.
- Stack Height: 38.5mm, designed for maximum comfort over long distances.
- Lugs: 4mm, ensuring reliable grip on all terrains.
- Outsole: Vibram® Megagrip Elite, the benchmark for grip and traction.
- Midsole: Arnitel® TPEE, offering excellent energy return and high durability.
- Weave: Bio-based Dyneema® and recycled nylon, combining lightness with abrasion resistance.

Specifically designed for UTMB and Western US races such as WSER, BLACK CANYON, CANYONS, etc., which feature a lot of flat terrain with some technical ascents and descents.
