Privam - Kenya

Nestled in the highlands of Mount Kenya, farmers Rita and Patrick Mukundi practice mixed farming for their macadamia and coffee crops. The thick green foliage of the macadamias allows the small SL-28, SL-34 and Batian coffee plants to mature slowly, creating very nutrient-rich growing conditions.

It is an exceptional culture that gives this coffee all its flavor. The complex aroma of stewed fruits of the Privam is unmissable.
