Like the Wind | Issue 42
- Description
A global vision of running culture
In its 42nd issue, Like the Wind does not limit itself to mere reality (although there is a good dose of reality too). We go beyond the everyday to enter the realm of fiction - from classical mythology to modern novels, through the unusual world of Russian folk tales. And we encounter strange places, by hallucination or otherwise, where reality and fiction merge before our eyes.
Across 130 creatively illustrated pages, we share stories of runners from around the world: suffering on the slopes of Mount Washington, mixing movement and music on the streets of Tokyo, racing against time on the unforgiving peaks and ridges of the Scottish Highlands.
We also feature well-researched discussions on topics that are currently affecting runners, such as body image and diversity on the starting line. Additionally, we open our pages to young voices, giving the next generation the opportunity to talk about running from their perspective.
