Description

An exceptional family farm on the slopes of Mount Kenya, and a proud direct trading partner. The Privam estate is run by Rita and Patrick Mukundi, with the support of their extended family. They practice polyculture with macadamia and coffee plants, which improves the health of their crops and soil.

The dense green foliage of the macadamia trees allows the smaller SL-28, SL-34, and Batian coffee plants to slowly develop their vibrant, fruity aromas. For the third year of our partnership, we continue to appreciate the lingering finish and classic Kenyan fruitiness that characterize their coffee.
