- Collar
Larger collar pads for a snugger fit and to reduce debris ingress.

- Tongue
The tongue material is a smooth microsuede that molds to the foot and has perforations to reduce heat.

- Upper
The open-mesh Bio-Dyneema® and recycled upper is incredibly strong and lightweight. The woven pattern allows for maximum breathability and quick water drainage.

- Midsole
The 005 features an entirely pure Arnitel® (TPEE) midsole, like no other shoe has ever had. This allows the 005 to be incredibly lightweight and responsive yet highly durable. While most supershoes are designed for race day, the 005 is built for race days - plural.

- Outsole
A brand-new full-length one-piece norda outsole with the world's first-ever version of Vibram® Mega Grip Elite rubber. This is a race day compound, which is Vibram's stickiest and lightest formulation ever. The increased stickiness of the Mega Grip Elite allows for varying lug heights, which makes for easy transitions between technical trails and fire roads.

- Laces
The laces are 4mm instead of 5mm to reduce weight. The laces are made from Dyneema®, which means greater abrasion resistance, more stretch, and 4x the strength of a standard lace.

- The norda™ lock-in system
The 005 features a proprietary detailed race day fit lock-in system. The heel collar is designed with pods to increase foot lockdown, comfort and reduce debris entry. The tongue is a smooth perforated microsuede that molds to the foot and allows heat to escape during high-intensity runs. This lock-in system is completed by new interior foot securing technology which engages via the laces and ensures an unshakeable hold.

- Weight: Approximately 250 g (US size 10.5), combining lightness and robustness.
- Drop: 7 mm, a perfect balance between cushioning and natural feel.
- Stack Height: 38.5 mm, designed for maximum comfort over long distances.
- Lugs: 4 mm, ensuring reliable grip on all terrains.
- Outsole: Vibram® Megagrip Elite, the benchmark for grip and traction.
- Midsole: Arnitel® TPEE, offering excellent energy return and great durability.
- Weave: Bio-based Dyneema® and recycled nylon, combining lightness and abrasion resistance.

Specifically designed for UTMB, and Western US races such as WSER, BLACK CANYON, CANYONS, etc., which feature a lot of flat terrain with some technical ascents and descents.
