- Collar
Larger collar pads for a tighter fit and to reduce debris ingress.

- Tongue
The tongue material is a smooth microsuede that molds to the foot and features perforations to reduce heat.

- Upper
The open-mesh Bio-Dyneema® upper made from recycled materials is incredibly strong and lightweight. The woven pattern allows for maximum breathability and quick water drainage.

- Midsole
The 005 features an entirely pure Arnitel® (TPEE) midsole, like no other shoe has ever had. This allows the 005 to be incredibly lightweight and responsive while remaining highly durable. While most supershoes are designed for race day, the 005 is designed for race days – plural.

- Outsole
A brand new, full-length norda one-piece outsole, featuring the world's first version of Vibram® Mega Grip Elite rubber. This is a race-day compound, which is the grippiest and lightest formulation ever created by Vibram®. The increased traction of the Mega Grip Elite allows for varying lug heights, making transitions between technical trails and dirt paths easier.

- Laces
The laces are 4mm instead of 5mm to reduce weight. The laces are made from Dyneema®, which gives them greater abrasion resistance, elasticity, and 4 times the strength of a standard lace.

- The norda™ lock-in system
The 005 features a proprietary detailed race-day fit lock-in system. The heel collar is designed with pods to increase foot lock-in, comfort, and reduce debris ingress. The tongue is a smooth, perforated microsuede that molds to the foot and allows heat to escape during high-intensity runs. This lock-in system is complemented by a new internal foot anchor technology that engages via the laces and ensures an unshakeable hold.

- Weight: Approximately 250 g (US size 10.5), combining lightness and robustness.
- Drop: 7 mm, a perfect balance between cushioning and natural feel.
- Stack height: 38.5 mm, designed for maximum comfort on long distances.
- Lugs: 4 mm, ensuring reliable grip on all terrains.
- Outsole: Vibram® Megagrip Elite, a benchmark in grip and traction.
- Midsole: Arnitel® TPEE, offering excellent energy return and high durability.

Specially designed for UTMB, and Western US races like WSER, BLACK CANYON, CANYONS, etc., which feature a lot of flat surface with some technical climbs and descents.
