Miguel Membreño - Collaboration “Run your city”

Miguel Membreño - Collaboration « Cours ta ville »
For the very first time, Faux Mouvement unveils a cotton Cours ta ville t-shirt, born from a collaboration with the artist Miguel Membreño , also a runner among us. This collaborative project embodies our passion for running and our attachment to the city of Quebec.

About the artist

Miguel Membreño, whose works have adorned the walls of our boutique, notably during the event La Nuit des Galeries , is a conceptual designer working in the world of video games. Originally from El Salvador, Miguel settled in Quebec City two years ago to work there. To integrate into this new city, he chose to join several running communities, including ours. Through running, Miguel has forged valuable friendships that have helped him find balance in his new life.
The idea behind the design

The t-shirt design celebrates the running community in Quebec City. It draws inspiration from Miguel’s experience of discovering a multitude of people in Quebec who share his passion for running. No matter your background, age or language (Miguel is still learning French), an instant connection is created as the group explores the city together. Old Quebec City is the meeting point for our community members from all walks of life.
A team spirit

This design embodies the collective spirit of the race: it’s not about who’s the fastest or who’s leading the race, but about enjoying the journey together. Cours ta ville is a testament to our affection for Québec City, for its picturesque landscapes, its rich architecture, its majestic river, its iconic château, and for all the souls who share our courses three times a week.

This project was born from collaborators who shared our aesthetic and vision. In partnership with Créature Atelier, our new neighbors, it was natural to call upon members of our neighborhood cooperative to bring this initiative to fruition.
